Preparation: This package contains: 340 g baking mix 120 g topping mix You will need: Springform pan (Ø 26 cm), e.g. Dr. Oetker A little fat And you add: 1 can of mandarins (drained weight 480 g) 100 g soft butter or margarine 1 egg (size M) 400 g sour cream Tip: Instead of a large can of mandarins, you can also use 3 small cans of mandarins (drained weight 175 g each). 1 Preparation Drain the mandarins well in a sieve, collecting the liquid and measuring 350 ml. Grease the springform pan. Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: about 180°C Fan oven: about 160°C 2 Prepare the dough Place the baking mix in a mixing bowl, add the butter or margarine and the egg. Using a mixer (with beaters) on the lowest speed, mix everything until crumbly. Pour the crumbles into the springform pan. First, form a dough edge about 2 cm high, then press the base firmly into place. 3 Prepare and bake the topping. Mix the topping mixture with the sour cream and mandarin orange juice using a mixer (whisks), first on the lowest speed, then on the highest speed for 2 minutes. Fold in the mandarins. Spread the mixture evenly over the base. Place the tin on the oven rack. Position: lower third. Baking time: about 60 minutes. Allow the cake to cool in the tin on a wire rack. TIP: For a particularly even edge, press the dough edge down to the level of the topping with two fingers after adding the topping.
