Viltsaus is a classic Norwegian brown sauce with spices and lingonberries that goes particularly well with venison. Try it also with lamb, meatballs and chicken. Feel free to add a little extra lingonberries. Easy to like, easy to make. 43g makes 500ml sauce
Ingredients: wheat flour, whey (milk), corn starch, yeast extract, sunflower oil, salt, aroma, coloring (ammonia caramel, paprika extract), sugar, onion, lingonberries, spices, juniper berries, red wine extract, acid (tartaric acid)
Preparation:Empty the contents of the bag into a saucepan. Add 200ml water and 300ml milk. Bring to a boil while stirring, use a whisk. Let the sauce boil for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
